You can check our class descriptions for guidance, Classes that are slower-paced or grounding are often a good place to begin. We also run Beginners Workshops at regular intervals, which offer more step-by-step support in a small group setting.
We don’t recommend starting with our most dynamic or physically demanding Flow sessions, if you are quite new to exercise or guided movement, but everything is open for you to explore.
If you’re unsure where to start, just reach out, we’re happy to help you find your footing.
Quite probably, we have lots of different class types and teachers, including Somatic movement which is often perfect for injured bodies. Please contact us and we can help to advise the best option for you. You may like to consider a 1-2-1 to asses your needs.
Not at all. Many of our students come to yoga to feel stronger, calmer, or more at home in their body. We welcome complete beginners and offer a range of classes to support you, wherever you're starting from.
Rest is not a luxury—it’s a vital part of healing and integration. In every class, we make time for deep rest, silence, or meditation. These moments are essential, not extra.
Where possible, we choose materials that are natural, ethically sourced, and environmentally responsible—like hemp bolsters, wool sheepskins, and organic cotton props. We also use environmentally friendly, refillable cleaning products to care for our space without harming the planet.
This isn’t just an aesthetic choice; it’s a reflection of our values. Yoga teaches ahimsa—non-harming—and invites us to live in greater harmony with ourselves, each other, and the Earth. Practising in alignment with these principles means considering how our everyday choices affect the wider web of life.
We’re not perfect, but we are committed to doing our best—choosing quality over excess, simplicity over waste, and integrity over convenience.
