Beginners Yoga

Courses for people new or returning to yoga, or anyone wishing to improve their understanding and confidence with yoga asana (physical yoga postures), breathwork and relaxation, perhaps with the intention of joining a regular weekly class or developing a self-practice.

Across each session we will explore the essentials needed to start you on your yoga journey, before enjoying relaxation at the end of each class.

Hatha Yoga

Tuesdays 10am

Hatha Yoga is a balanced and comfortably paced practice.  Influenced by your teacher Francesca's traditional Sivananda training, you will work through the 12 basic postures in a way that opens energy channels and improves the bodies flexibility whilst developing a sense of peace and mental wellbeing.

You can expect gentle guidance and time to follow the alignment cues and find the posture in your body.


Beginners welcome, mixed ability.

Flow & Restore

Thursdays 11:30am

This soothing restorative flow aims to give you space to relax and wind down, with a blend of gentle movement and delightfully deep stretches.  Flow & Restore will leave you feeling lighter, brighter and totally chilled out.

This is a fantastic class for beginners, or anyone who wants a good stretch and time to relax and take care of themselves.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa means "to place in a special way", with postures flowing from one to the next in harmony with the breath.  With mindful attention we build strength, balance and flexibility, improve energy flow and create space in the mind, leaving you feeling peaceful and centred.  These classes include a blend of sun salutations, traditional and modern postures, as well as an opportunity to explore pranayama (yogic breathwork) and meditation.

Mixed ability, these classes are fluid and energetic.

Dynamic Vinyasa

Mondays 7:30pm

Inspired by astanga and the eight limbs of yoga, these classes develop further on our Vinyasa Yoga Flow classes.

Woven through with philosophy, these varied classes include a blend of ashtanga influenced sun salutations, traditional and modern postures, strength and flexibility building creative flows before settling into restful restorative postures, pranayama and meditation.

These classes are designed to take you deeper into your yoga practice and is intended for those with some experience.

Power Flow / Dynamic Flow

Fridays 11:30am

(60 mins)

A physically challenging style flowing through strong postures and creative sequences, these classes will get your heart pumping! And of course we slow down towards the end, settling into restful restorative postures and blissful relaxation.

Similar in pace to our Dynamic Vinyasa, but less "Ashtanga" influence. These classes are intended for those with some experience, they are not recommended for complete beginners.Please do contact us if unsure.

Somatic Movement

Tuesdays 10am

A gentle and restorative class combining yoga and somatic movement, working remedially to release tension from the body.  These classes are fantastic for anyone with pain or chronic tension, or recovering from injury.  They are also incredibly valuable for anyone wishing to release tight muscles and are a fantastic balance for a more dynamic practice.

You will learn how to release tightly held muscles and stress, whilst developing deeper body-mind awareness and finer motor control of the muscles.

Beginners are welcome.

Functional Core

Mondays 12:45pm

This is a general level class for anyone who wants to move with ease. It will focus on increasing mobility and strengh, balance and core stabilty using yoga poses with pilates core work and functional exercises. A great compliment to any fitness regime or to add to your exsiting yoga practice.

All levels welcome as plenty of modifications will be given. A great starting point to build confidence for more flowing practices help with any running or cycling etc.

Roll & Release

Fridays 1pm

(60 mins)

Unqiue weekly classes using foam rollers and trigger balls to release tight spots in the muscles and facsia, from where we will work on releasing differnt areas each week, exploring the head and neck shoulders, legs, lowerback and glutes.

This class will give you the opportunity to sustainably maintain a healthy body through SMR self myofascial release with the aid of foam rollers and ball therapy.

Yoga Nidra

Mondays 11:15am

Yogic Sleep Meditation For Total Relaxation

​This is an invitation to rest. To lie down in a safe, held space and really rest. Listen to yourself and find connection to those quiet inner parts of you that are so often left forgotten.

Yoga Nidra is a state of concious resting awareness, reached though a profound verbally guideded meditation that speaks directly to the nervous system.   Lying comfortably in supported "savasana" you will be guided to observe and welcome your breath, body, mind and soul as you journey to this state of resting awareness.

Yoga Nidra can be used theraputically for healing, personal growth, stimulating creativity or simply for deep relaxation.

This class is suitable for everyone. You cannot do this incorrectly! Each experience is unique. We work with a particular yoga nidra for a few weeks, to allow you to deepen your connection and experience through subconcious familiarity.
