Yoga Teacher 200 Hour Training

Part-Time 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Berkshire
March 2026 – February 2027
In partnership with Middle Path Movement (Yoga Alliance RYS)
A year-long journey into the heart of yoga
If you’re looking for a 200-hour yoga teacher training in Berkshire that feels grounded, spacious and truly possible alongside real life, this part-time training may be the path you’ve been seeking.
Held at Sarvāṅga Yoga Studio in Wokingham, and delivered in partnership with Middle Path Movement Yoga School, this year-long programme offers a complete, embodied education in yoga - movement, breath, philosophy, meditation and skilful, compassionate teaching.
Rather than an intensive month-long course, this training unfolds gently: one weekend per month, allowing the teachings to integrate naturally and supporting real transformation over time.
Whether you’re coming from Reading, Bracknell, Ascot, Windsor, Maidenhead, Guildford, or anywhere across Berkshire and the South-East, or even further afield, you’ll find a warm, steady home for study and practice here.

What you’ll explore
Each weekend blends practice, philosophy, and embodied study. Together we’ll cover:
-
Asana & alignment – foundational principles of Hatha, Hatha-Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and Ashtanga
-
Breathwork & pranayama – the bridge between body and mind
-
Meditation & mantra – stillness, sound, and awareness
-
Anatomy & physiology – understanding safe and intelligent movement
-
Yoga philosophy & history – the roots and ethics of practice
-
Teaching skills & sequencing – finding your authentic voice as a teacher
-
Energy systems – chakras, meridians, and subtle anatomy
-
Professional development – ethics, class design, and holding space
By the end of the course, you’ll not only be ready to teach confidently - you’ll understand yoga as a living practice that extends far beyond the mat. Successful graduates are eligible to register RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance.

This training is for curious, committed practitioners who feel ready to deepen their relationship with yoga — whether or not teaching is the end goal.
There’s no requirement to be “advanced.”
