Rosemary & Thyme

Writer: Rebecca JamesRebecca James

I've been a poorly yoga bunny this week. Lucky for me I have a treasure trove of essential oils to ease the journey!

For many of us our go-to oils for respiratory illnesses might be eucalyptus to open our airways or tea tree to kill the germs. Both are amazing oils and there are loads more. But I want to share these two herbs with you today, #rosemary and #thyme have been great friends this week.

As well as smelling divine, Rosemary is one of the best oils for coughs and congestion and works brilliantly in your diffuser, helping to relieve your symptoms. It also aids in boosting your immune system, easing headaches, reduces cortisol (the stress hormone) helping you to relax and it improves cognitive function, so you'll feel a bit brighter.

💚 Thyme is antibacterial, antispasmodic and an expectorant (promotes clearance of mucus from the airways), among many other properties. It is also an tonic, fortifying the nervous and immune systems. So it soothes your cough, clears your airways, fights germs and helps you recover fast.

Boom! What more could you ask for?
